Active

Deal [225/250/300/350/400]% damage to all back-line enemies, with a [60/70/85/100]% chance to Taunt each target for 3 rounds, and increase own Armor by [25/30/35/45/60]% for 5 rounds. (Taunt: Taunted enemies must target the taunter with their attacks. If an attack hits multiple enemies, the taunter is always included. Taunted enemies also have their Hit Chance reduced by 15%.)

Mode Rankings

Taunt tank with limited mech value. Trapped With Me Taunts all enemies for 3 rounds and grants Snake +60% Armor for 5 rounds, but mech bosses often target randomly or use Taunt-bypassing AoE. The Armor buff plus Prison Food's flat +60% Armor and Stun immunity keep him durable under focus fire.

Shank Redemption counters all enemies for 300% damage and self-heals 300% of Attack whenever Snake takes a DOT, giving him standalone sustain. Prison Pact grants all allies +100% Armor when he drops below 50% HP. With his Taunt largely negated in single-boss fights, Mazu's intercept is the clearly better mech tank.

Taunt tank with narrow Smash value. Trapped With Me Taunts all enemies for 3 rounds and grants Snake +60% Armor for 5 rounds, protecting your carries while reducing taunted enemies' Hit Chance by 15%. Prison Food's +60% Armor and Stun immunity make him hard to pin down.

When Snake drops below 50% HP, Prison Pact buffs all allies' Armor by 100% for 3 rounds, hardening the whole team. Shank Redemption punishes DOT comps with 300% counters and self-healing. Rarely worth a Smash slot — Howler's stronger frontliners cover the same protection with more upside.

Taunt tank for PvP, but outclassed in the role. Trapped With Me forces the entire enemy team to hit Snake for 3 rounds and stacks +60% Armor, protecting backline carries while cutting taunted enemies' Hit Chance. Prison Food's Armor and Stun immunity sustain him through the lockdown.

Shank Redemption counters all enemies for 300% and self-heals 300% Attack off any DOT applied to him, with a chance to spread Bleed. Prison Pact grants all allies +100% Armor once Snake falls below 50% HP. A purely reactive kit with no offense leaves him a low-priority PvP pick.

Taunt tank for Howler hard mode, but a low-priority pick. Trapped With Me redirects boss attacks to Snake for 3 rounds and grants +60% Armor, protecting your DPS during critical damage phases. Prison Food's flat Armor and Stun immunity, plus Shank Redemption's DOT-triggered self-heal (300% Attack), sustain him through focus fire.

When Snake drops below 50% HP, Prison Pact hardens the whole team with +100% Armor. Mazu's intercept and team healing make him the better tank in nearly every HM matchup, leaving Snake to niche cases where Taunt is specifically needed.

Taunt tank for sewers, but rarely the right slot. Trapped With Me concentrates enemy attacks onto Snake for 3 rounds while granting +60% Armor, protecting squishy Howler fighters. Prison Food's +60% Armor and Stun immunity keep him standing through waves of mobs.

Shank Redemption's DOT counters (300% damage + 300% Attack self-heal) punish poison-heavy sewer enemies, and Prison Pact's team-wide +100% Armor below 50% HP hardens everyone in tough waves. He brings no healing or energy for the team, so the limited sewer slots are better spent elsewhere.

Taunt tank for campaign, but a low-priority investment. Trapped With Me Taunts enemies for 3 rounds and grants +60% Armor, protecting underleveled carries. Prison Food's Armor and Stun immunity, plus Shank Redemption's DOT-triggered self-heal (300% Attack), keep Snake alive through multi-wave stages where healing is scarce.

When he drops below 50% HP, Prison Pact buffs all allies' Armor by 100% to help the team push through. His purely defensive, self-oriented kit is outclassed by Mazu, so he rarely earns a campaign slot.
