Zhulong
Permanently increases ATK after ascension. #1 priority dragon. Used in ~80% of mech scenarios.
- S perk: +5% ATK stacking every round (best on Spekkio before distributing)
- #1 priority dragon overall
- Merged Zhulong = massive power spike
- Do NOT put on Scythe — Zhulong is NOT for Scythe

Yinglong
+50% Crit Damage, +10% True Damage. Heals based on damage dealt when ascended.
- S1: Sufficient for most fighters — heals based on damage dealt
- Core on Spekkio (with Zhulong)
- Used on Otto and Scythe (with Dabei)
- Double-Yinglong nerf (April 2024): can no longer equip 2 on same fighter

Naga
+50% Block, +Speed. Kunai synergy. Not required for mech.
- Keep 3 separate — do NOT merge. Manipulates speed of more fighters.
- On supports (Zura, Laguna) for speed manipulation
- 7% more ATK than Dabei but limited by damage cap
- Merged Naga = higher max, but Ying+Dabei = more consistency

Yamata
Energy on round 1. Useless until S3, then very good.
- 5-star: 70 energy (round 1 only)
- 6-star: 120 energy (round 1 only)
- S3: S3 recommended — useless before this
- S3 Yamata on fastest fighter → gives everyone turn-1 energy
- S3 mandatory for Lily team

Tianlu
CC resistance. Combines with elite dragon Matsu for 100% control resist.
- S3 essential for hard mode 108+
- Not used in mechs (usually)
- Went from level 81 to 107 in a week with S3 Tianlu

Toronbo
Energy + 40% Skill Damage at 5-star. Generally better than Yamata for mechs.
- 5-star: 50 energy + 40% Skill Damage
- Priority: Laguna, Zura, Zemus
- Ruby switches to Toronbo at level 270 (from Matsu)
- Use on Ruby so shield breaks easier (NOT HP dragons)

Matsu
Control resist. 22% ATK.
- On Fenrus and Otto for resist petrify/freeze
- Combines with Tianlu for 100% control resist
- Separate from Ultra dragons

Dabei
~18% ATK + Crit Chance.
- Spekkio, Scythe, Otto priority
- You really need 3 crit dragons
- Ruby switches from Matsu to Toronbo+Dabei at 270

ATK fallback when lacking ultras.
- Used on Zemus, Lucius. Fallback for Ruby when lacking Dabei.

Speed dragon.
- Used on Ruby (before 270), Pyra
- Okami at 260 with Mingshe+Toronbo counters Fenrus/Zemus mechs

- Entry-level dragon for newer players

Green tier dragon. Low investment option.
- Entry-level dragon for newer players
Mech Assignments
Spekkio
Most important assignment. Merged Zhulong preferred.
Block build variant — Naga for block chance + speed + Kunai synergy
Otto
Crit chance from Dabei. Otto has natural crit damage but NOT natural crit chance.
Scythe
Needs crit chance dragons. Do NOT use Zhulong+Naga on Scythe.
Zura
Naga for speed manipulation + block synergy with Kunai.
Laguna
Only give energy dragon to Laguna (not other supports) for Pyra+Leene strat.
Zemus
Energy dragon so Zemus kills minions turn 1 and gets 100 energy to re-use ability. Matsu for control resist.
Speed variant — Tianlu is campaign dragon, NOT for mech
Ruby
At 270+. Toronbo so shield breaks easier. Before 270: Matsu instead of Toronbo.
Before level 270
Pyra
Frontline setup for mech counter role.
Merging Rules
- Don't merge energy dragons — need enough for many fighters.
- Don't merge Nagas — speed manipulation benefits from having separate copies.
- Merged dragon True Damage IS limited by damage cap.
- Naga gives 7% more ATK than Dabei but limited by cap — Ying+Dabei = more consistency, merged Naga = higher max.
- Dragon shard ultra pull rate: 12.5%.
- Merging to S1 needs 2 copies at 6-star max. S3 needs 4 total copies.
- Merged Zhulong on Spekkio = massive power spike. Distribute to other carries after.
