HOLY ENERGY

Deals [200/250/300/400/500]% damage to all back-line enemies, remove all Stat Buffs, and grant a random ally [20/40/60/80/100] Energy.

Mode Rankings

Anti-buff mech mage. Holy Energy hits all back-line enemies and removes all Stat Buffs, stripping mech boss buffs that would otherwise reduce your team's damage. Blast of Light's basic attacks reduce enemy Damage Reduction by 25% and grant a random ally +40% Skill Damage.

Explosive Exit deals 200% AoE damage on death and has a 75% chance to remove all Stat Buffs again, adding value even when Mogu falls to a boss attack. Holy Spirit's stat package rounds out his durability. Niche pick when mech bosses rely on self-buffing mechanics.

Anti-buff counter-pick for Smash. Holy Energy strips all Stat Buffs from the back line — situationally devastating against buff-reliant factions — while its 100 Energy grant accelerates an ally's skill. Blast of Light constantly chips enemy Damage Reduction and feeds an ally Skill Damage.

Explosive Exit's death AoE deals 200% to all enemies and likely wipes their Stat Buffs again, turning a lost trade into a buff-strip. Useful only against buff-heavy Smash comps; against everything else his low output leaves him a bench pick.

Situational PvP counter-pick. Holy Energy and Explosive Exit both remove all Stat Buffs, dismantling buff-stacking strategies, and Holy Energy's back-line targeting bypasses enemy tanks while handing an ally 100 Energy. Blast of Light keeps shredding enemy Damage Reduction.

Explosive Exit's 200% death AoE plus another buff-strip means killing Mogu is costly for the enemy. His value is entirely matchup-dependent — strong only against buff- or support-heavy compositions, and a dead slot against anything else.

Situational hard mode mage. Holy Energy's Stat Buff removal is valuable when bosses buff themselves, but many don't. Blast of Light's Damage Reduction shred helps the whole team push through tanky bosses, and its Skill Damage grant feeds a carry.

Explosive Exit's 200% death AoE and buff-strip can disrupt boss buff windows. Holy Spirit's HP, Armor, and Block round out his durability. Niche pick for buff-heavy hard mode encounters.

Niche sewer mage. Holy Energy's buff removal is valuable against sewer enemies that self-buff, and its back-line targeting reaches enemies that frontliners miss while feeding an ally 100 Energy. Blast of Light shreds frontline Damage Reduction each turn.

Explosive Exit's 200% death AoE provides value as waves pile up. Damage output is lower than dedicated sewer mages. Best used when sewer content features buff-heavy enemies that need constant dispelling.

Utility mage for campaign. Holy Energy's Stat Buff removal and back-line targeting neutralize dangerous campaign enemies, while Blast of Light's Damage Reduction shred speeds up kills and grants an ally Skill Damage.

Explosive Exit's 200% death AoE clears weakened campaign enemies. Lower raw damage than Pyra limits his carry potential. Best used for specific campaign stages with buff-heavy enemies.
