INTIMIDATING FORCE

Active

Deals [250-300-350-450-550]% damage to 2 random enemies and applies Intimidation Mark. If the target already has Intimidation Mark, ignore their Armor, remove the mark, and has a [30-35-45-55-65]% chance to Stun them for 2 rounds. (Intimidation Mark: Enemies with this mark deal 25% reduced damage to Baron.)

Mode Rankings

Niche mech brawler. Intimidating Force marks targets so they deal 25% reduced damage to Baron, and ignores the Armor of already-marked enemies for extra burst — useful against high-Armor mech bosses. Boar Brutality layers 150% Burn onto his double-target basics, and Beastly Blocker heals Baron at the end of each round for 400% of his Attack per Burning enemy.

His 30% Damage Reduction (active while Paralyzed) plus Beastly Blocker's blocked-attack counters provide survivability and chip damage. Functions as a tanky off-DPS but not a mech priority.

Tanky Howler frontline flex for Smash. Intimidating Force marks enemies to cut their damage to Baron by 25% and strips Armor from already-marked targets, while Boar Brutality spreads 150% Burn across two enemies per basic attack. Beastly Blocker counters every blocked hit for 150% Burn and reduces the attacker's Hit Chance by 25%.

Beastly Blocker also heals Baron for 400% of his Attack each round per Burning enemy, so the more Burn he spreads the more he sustains. Stun and Burn immunity from Rampaging Razorback keep him on the field. A serviceable but secondary Smash brawler — fine as filler, not a core pick.

Durable PvP brawler that punishes aggressive melee comps. Beastly Blocker counters every blocked hit for 150% Burn and cuts the attacker's Hit Chance by 25% — and Baron self-heals 400% of his Attack each round per Burning enemy, so trading into him is costly. Intimidation Mark makes marked carries deal 25% less damage to him.

Intimidating Force can ignore a marked target's Armor and has a chance to Stun it for 2 rounds, opening burst windows. With 30% Damage Reduction while Paralyzed plus Stun/Burn immunity, Baron is hard to remove without dedicated ranged damage. A situational PvP frontline that ranged comps sidestep entirely.

Niche frontline for Howler hard mode. Intimidation Mark reduces marked boss damage to Baron by 25%, and Beastly Blocker's per-round heal (400% Attack per Burning enemy) gives him standalone sustain once Burn is rolling. Boar Brutality's Burn and counter Burn provide supplemental DPS.

Outclassed by Mazu as the primary Howler tank due to Mazu's intercept and team healing. Baron lacks the CC or team utility hard mode demands, so he rarely earns a slot outside flex spots when extra tankiness is needed.

Self-sustaining sewer brawler, but a secondary pick. Beastly Blocker's blocked-attack counters and per-round heal (400% Attack per Burning enemy) compound across long sewer runs, keeping Baron topped off as Burn stacks pile onto multiple enemies. Stun and Burn immunity from Rampaging Razorback keep him stable through every wave.

Intimidation Mark cuts incoming damage from marked frontliners by 25%, and Boar Brutality's Burn spreads across two targets per basic attack. He sustains himself but adds little for the team, so he's a situational sewer filler rather than a core slot.

Serviceable campaign brawler. Intimidation Mark and Boar Brutality's spreading Burn provide utility for progression, while Beastly Blocker's counters and per-round Burn heal add passive damage and sustain across multi-wave stages.

Stun/Burn immunity and 30% Damage Reduction (while Paralyzed) help survive overleveled campaign enemies. Falls off in late campaign where dedicated tanks (Mazu) or carries (Rocco) are more impactful. Decent early-to-mid campaign investment.
