BUZZSAW BLITZ
ActiveDeals [150-225-300-400-500]% damage against 3 random enemies. If the target has an active Burn or Bleed effect, reduce the target's Heal Effect by 30% (if both are active, then reduce by 60%) for 5 rounds. Additionally, for each target, if the attack is a Critical Strike, deal an additional [50-75-100-125-150]% Burn damage and [50-75-100-125-150]% Bleed damage for 3 rounds.
Mode Rankings
Minimal mech role. Battle Tested's Kodiak scaling (+60 Speed and +50 Energy per Kodiak ally) lets him reach his active early, and Buzzsaw Blitz's 500% to 3 targets with up to 60% healing reduction pressures healing-dependent bosses, but single-boss mech fights blunt his multi-target kit.
Scrapyard Skills' counter triples against Mage/Support bosses and Critical Role can shield allies, but neither defines the Kodiak mech core the way Spekkio or Karma do. He's a marginal inclusion rather than a key enabler.
Solid Kodiak brawler option for Club Smash. High base Crit (50) and Armor Break (55) make him a consistent damage dealer. Bleed/Burn immune prevents DoT chip damage.
Magic Shield distribution from Critical Role helps team survivability. However, lacks the defensive staying power or revival mechanics that define top-tier Smash fighters.
Strong anti-healer kit — Buzzsaw Blitz applies up to 60% healing reduction on Bleed+Burn targets. Scrapyard Skills gains ATK/Crit each time an enemy heals, punishing sustain-heavy comps.
Bleed and Burn immunity prevents DoT-based strategies. Viable disruptor but lacks the CC, revive, or burst that top-tier PvP fighters bring.
Capable hard-mode brawler with conditional damage upside. Buzzsaw Blitz hits 3 random enemies for 500%, and on critical strikes adds 150% Burn plus 150% Bleed per target — strong against grouped minions when his 50% base Crit lands. Against Burn/Bleed-afflicted targets it also cuts Heal Effect by up to 60%, hampering sustain bosses.
Battle Tested's Kodiak scaling (+60 Speed and +50 Energy per Kodiak ally) ensures early skill activation, and Critical Role grants 40 Energy and +40% Armor Break whenever his skill crits, plus Magic Shields to 3 allies the first time he skills below 50% HP. However, he has no CC whatsoever and his damage is entirely self-oriented, limiting his contribution compared to fighters with stuns, AoE, or team sustain.
Strong individual performer in Kodiak sewers thanks to Battle Tested's faction scaling — in a full Kodiak team, +300 Speed and +250 Energy guarantee an immediate Buzzsaw Blitz on turn 1. Anti-healer utility (up to -60% Heal Effect on Burn+Bleed targets) shuts down enemy sustain, and crit-fueled 150% Burn/150% Bleed riders add damage.
Scrapyard Skills' counter triples against Mage/Support enemies (300% Bleed plus 90% Hit reduction). However, the kit is entirely self-oriented — no team healing, no energy generation for allies, no CC, no shields beyond the conditional Magic Shield. The five core sewer slots demand fighters who contribute to team survival, not just individual damage output.
Solid campaign brawler with strong Kodiak synergy but limited late-game utility. Battle Tested's per-ally Energy and Speed scaling enables early skill cycling, and Buzzsaw Blitz's 500% across 3 targets with healing reduction handles sustain-heavy stages, gaining crit Burn/Bleed riders for extra chip.
Magic Shields from Critical Role protect key allies, Critical Role's energy refund on crits keeps his active firing, and 4.37M base HP gives him durability. He falls off past stage 1500 where the lack of reliable CC limits his contribution against extremely tanky enemies that demand crowd control over raw damage.
